Instead of my “usual” going over problems and/or concerns, observations and all that good stuff for my end of the week blog, I would like to talk about the awesomeness I encountered today.
I have an awesome, amazing photographer friend, Emma Katka! Today, we went on an adventure. She loves doing shoots of abandoned buildings, and the one was the mother of all abandonment; we went to an old abandoned mental hospital. It was not only a good use of my free day, but it was amazingly fun, and really let me relax. Though, there were parts of the trip that were less relaxing, and more…terrifying! Like I said, it was an abandoned building, so there was one point where I could have sworn I saw something…lets just say not normal. But mainly the only worrying parts were the worn out floors.
Either way, I had a great time, and Emma is one of the most talented people I know. Only she can make the “ugly” and “unused” look so wonderful. I would highly recommend checking out her photography page one facebook: Emma Katka Photography.
